Young scientists & education
At the institutes of the Forschungsverbund, young scientists are in charge of young research groups, have junior professorships or can be employed on a post-doctoral level. The institutes actively promote Science Education and Professional Training. They also offer many pupils the opportunity to learn about scientific work for example in Pupil Laboratories or pupil placements.
Every year the Forschungsverbund awards the Young Female Scientist Award to a young female scientist from Berlin-Brandenburg and thus promotes Equal Opportunites for women in Science.
