In collaboration with our scientists, research partners and industrial partners, we seek to identify and secure innovations, and to foster and support their commercial exploitation.
In the process, it is often important to protect this intellectual property with patents and other proprietary rights.
In an effort to help ensure the successful commercial exploitation of intellectual property, a Patent Department was established within the Joint Administration of FVB. This central office is responsible for managing FVB’s intellectual property rights. Moreover, FVB Legal Affairs performs a legal analysis of all R&D, cooperation and licensing agreements.
