The Administration of the Forschungsverbund

The seven institutes under the umbrella of the Forschungsverbund have a Joint Administration, based in Berlin-Adlershof. In addition, each institute has a local administration team. All administrative staff form the FVB Administration.

Martin Böhnke has been Legal Advisor at Forschungsverbund Berlin e. V. since April 2022 and took over as Managing Director in April 2024. Until then, he worked as Vice President at the HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen. Previously, he was Chancellor at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design (ABK Stuttgart). After studying law at the Leibniz University Hannover and completing his legal clerkship, he took on various roles, including as Faculty Managing Director at the Leibniz University Hannover.
