Award-winning apprentice at Leibniz-IZW

The Leibniz Association has honored three apprentices for their outstanding professional competence and social commitment. One of the award-winners is Michelle Bredereck, a former apprentice of the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research.

Michelle Bredereck (25) completed her training to become an Office Management Assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (Leibniz-IZW). Besides passing her training with excellent marks, she also took on the role of Deputy Disability Officer at her institute and was involved in public relations. An Erasmus scholarship enabled her to spend time abroad in Malta. During Leibniz Apprentice Day 2019, she spoke to trainees from other Leibniz institutes about her experiences.

After completing her training, Michelle Bredereck initially worked as an administrative employee at the Leibniz-IZW. She is now pursuing a dual study program with Berliner Stadtreinigung to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, focusing on Industry.
