Blackout: Adlershof Institutes and Joint Administration have power again

Since the morning of September 10, 2025, Adlershof and other areas have been affected by widespread power outages. Availability is now being restored step by step.

Update, September 12, 2025, 12:00 p.m.: The FVB and its institutes can now be contacted again by email.

Update, September 12, 2025, 9:30 a.m.: All FVB buildings have power again. This means that telephone service has also been restored. All digital systems will be booted up during the day.

September 9, 2025, 10:00 a.m.:Following an attack on the power supply in southeast Berlin, the Adlershof Institutes, the Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung and the Max Born Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy, as well as the Joint Administration of the Forschungsverbund Berlin e. V., are affected by a complete power outage. The employees of these institutions cannot currently be reached by telephone or email. You will find an emergency contact number below this message.

At this moment, it is not foreseeable when exactly the damage will be repaired. It can be assumed that the situation will continue for several days. We expect that service will be restored in the course of Friday, September 12, 2025. Should there be any new developments, we will inform you immediately.
