Who can apply?
- Outstanding scholars, researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, young professionals, and innovators.
- All disciplines are welcome.
Criteria/Eligibility
- If an applicant has a Bachelor’s degree, the degree should not date back more than 10 years.
- If an applicant has a Master’s degree, the degree should not date back more than 7 years.
- If an applicant has a PhD, the degree should not date back more than 5 years.
- Postdocs and students currently enrolled in university are also eligible to apply.
The winner of each international Falling Walls Lab qualifies for the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin, which is held every year on November 8 and is closely connected to the annual and internationally renowned Falling Walls Conference, taking place on November 9, 2019.
Furthermore the winner of the Falling Walls Lab Adlershof is also kindly invited to talk at the Adlershofer Forschungsforum (Adlershof Research Forum), which is an annual one-day conference taking place in Adlershof on November 11, 2019. It is a platform for knowledge exchange and communication between scientists working in Adlershof.
